Příbor

P1 Trail P1: Treasure of the Hidden Springs Stop

This route is quite short, but very interesting. It leads through the old centre of the town where Sigmund Freud was born. Follow the traces of underground water from the statue of St. John of Nepomuk on “Nádražní” street, across the square, and to the secrets of the gardens of the Piarist monastery.

  • Start Grassy area at the crossing of “Nádražní” and “Čs. Armády” streets
  • Parking Near the Birth House of Sigmund Freud or close to the first stop. Near the start, there is also a new cycling rest area with a charging station for e-bikes.
  • Info Don't forget to bring a "frog" with you Before you set off on the trail, don't forget to take the flyer with you and fold it into a "frog." You won't get the treasure key without it. See "How to Play" for more details.

St. John of Nepomuk is known as the patron saint of millers, bridges, raftsmen and boatmen. He also protects against floods. The underground spaces hide remains of an old mill race.
