How to play
This seasonal tourist game takes you on eight trails through the stories of water in the Lašská brána region of the Beskydy Mountains. Along the way, you’ll answer questions, and at the end of each trail, you’ll find a box with a small reward and a contest sticker. The game runs from May 31 to October 31, 2026.
Fold a paper frog
Pick up a colorful flyer at the information center or print it from the website. Fold it into a "frog" (heaven-hell-paradise). The frog is indispensable and will guide you through the game. Be sure to bring it with you. You can also get an English version of the questions on the website or at the information center; the questions in the field are only in Czech.
Pick a route
There are eight trails waiting for you in the area around Kopřivnice, Štramberk, Příbor, and Hukvaldy—in the Lašská brána region of the Beskydy Mountains. The trails vary in length and difficulty and are suitable for individuals, families with children, couples, seniors, and groups.
Walk and search
Find the questions along the route and search for the correct answers. Thanks to the clues in the surrounding area, it’ll be a breeze. And sometimes, it’ll even be a bit of fun and adventure. Each route has 3 checkpoints. Each checkpoint has 3 questions.
Open the treasure
Správné odpovědi ti odhalí klíče k odemknutí pokladu ukrytém v cíli každé trasy. Sada všech osmi samolepek ti umožní zúčastnit se losování o Velký Lašský poklad. Stačí odevzdat vyplněný soutěžní ústřižek v některém z informačních center.
Pick up the leaflet and fold the frog
You won’t be able to do it without the flyer. You’ll need the folded “frog” (heaven-hell-paradise) during the game to get the right codes to open the treasure. At the same time, you’ll collect stickers on the remaining portion of the flyer, and once you turn in the complete flyer, you’ll be entered into the fall drawing for the Great Lachian Treasure.
How to prepare for the game
Simply print out the flyer and assemble it into a puzzle. Print in color. However, it’s better to pick up the flyer at one of the information centers (Kopřivnice, Štramberk, Příbor, Hukvaldy). The same applies to the contest questions. The questions along the route are in Czech only. Questions adapted for English- and Polish-speaking players can be found on the website or picked up in print at the information center.
Where to find the leaflet
At the information centers in Kopřivnice, Štramberk, Příbor, and Hukvaldy. Or right at the end of each trail. So, once you’ve solved a trail using a temporary printed frog, you can pick up a leaflet from the treasure box and assemble the frog properly.

Heaven-hell-paradise paper folder
Cut out a square from the flyer and assemble the traditional children's puzzle "Heaven-Hell-Paradise"—it will help you during the game.
How to get to the treasure at the finish line
Each route takes you through three stations. At each station, you’ll find three questions. Answer them correctly to earn clues—and with those clues, the frog puzzle will help you find the key to the treasure.
- Clue A Clue A will reveal the color of the compass when you point it toward yourself.
- Clue B Clue B specifies how many times you should "frog-leg" your hands. You always start facing forward (index fingers together, thumbs together). Then you open and close your hands exactly as many times as there are letters in the word from Clue B.
- Clue C Clue C tells you which animal’s picture you should look under to find the two-digit code. Write that code on the back of your contest entry form.
- Unlock the treasure at the finish line Once you’ve visited all the checkpoints along the route, you should have three two-digit numbers. Arrange them in order (as they appear from the 1st to the 3rd checkpoint). Add # to the six-digit number you’ve obtained. That’s it. You have the code to the treasure box. Pick up your small reward, stick the sticker on the contest slip, and return everything to its original place so others can enjoy the treasure too.
